💡 A Note on Platform Choices (Updated Advice From Katie)
Online Success was created about a year ago, and since then the tech landscape has continued to evolve — especially when it comes to tools and platforms for running an online business. So here’s my updated advice on how to choose wisely without wasting time or money.
The tools suggested in teh program are for those of you considering "patchworking" your business together — using different platforms for your email list, website, course hosting, and so on.
It might seem like a clever cost-saving move at first.
And to be fair — that’s exactly how I began. I used Constant Contact for email, Wix for my website, and Teachable for my online offerings.
But I’ll be honest: I quickly regretted it.
By the time I added up the monthly costs and wrestled with trying to get all the platforms to integrate and work smoothly together, I realised it wasn’t actually saving me money — and it was definitely costing me time and energy. It felt clunky, inconsistent, and distracting from what mattered most: sharing my work and serving my clients.
Six months in, I made the switch to Kajabi. It was a big leap financially, but I haven’t looked back. I use it every day and absolutely love it.
That said, I know Kajabi isn’t the right fit (or the right price) for everyone — especially if you’re just starting out.
If you’re looking for simpler, more affordable all-in-one options, I now recommend:

ShinePages – Clean, simple, beautiful templates with an intuitive back end.

OfferingTree – Designed with wellness practitioners in mind, very user-friendly.
They’re not quite as comprehensive as Kajabi, but they offer a streamlined way to build your online presence without the overwhelm of managing too many moving parts.
Choose what aligns with where you’re at now — and know that as your business grows, you can always evolve your tools too.
